Simon is an illusionist, Maya is a fortune teller, Bell can disappear, Tibby can hover, and Mattie can read mind. The family's tricks aren't acts, they're powers. When Mattie and her family move to a new circus called Master Morogh's Circus of Wonders weird stuff starts to happen. A singer suddenly loses her voice but then Bell loses his power and there is only one explanation, Master Morogh could be doing something to them. Should the Marvelwoods run to a new circus and leave Bell's power behind or should they risk losing their powers and try to get Bell's power back? I recommend this book to 4th graders and up.
